The Cornwall Sports Partnership (CSP) is a partnership of organisations working together to make sport a part of everyday life in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly including the sectors of health, education, local government, National Governing Bodies of Sport, police and the economy. We work with our partners to sustain and increase participation in community sport throughout Cornwall & the Isles of Scilly. Community sport is widely defined and includes informal activity such as recreational walking and cycling, new sports such as skateboarding through to more traditional team sports like rugby and netball. They stage the Sports Awards, Cornwall Corporate Games, Manage Sports projects like the Healthy Active Lifestyles Project (HALP) provide training, courses and workshops and support for funding.
The seminars reflects requests from practitioners across the sector. The programme is delivered across Cornwall throughout the year. Some of the subjects covered are: marketing/presentation; entrepreneurship; fundraising; media skills for visual artists and technical skills.
Amongst other areas, the course deals with time management, problem solving skills and working to a budget. Held twice annually in locations throughout Cornwall the course runs for one day per week over a 6 week period.

Enterprise Tamar provides free, confidential and independent business advice to everyone. It also offers computer training and offices/workshops to rent on "easy in - easy out" terms.

The Food Innovation Service (FIS) is a consultancy business established to provide support to the South West regional food industry. Run by a team of three people with many years experience in the food and drink industry, the service can provide comprehensive advice, support, scientific and practical resources for food and drink preparation, packing and testing. Technical support can be offered at a businesses’ own facilities or those available within the Agri-Food Innovation Centre. The facilities at the Agri-Food Centre are amongst the best available anywhere in the country and are managed by the Food Innovation Service. The Forestry Commission aims to protect and expand Britain's forests and woodlands. It promotes the development and promotion of sustainable forest management. The Cornwall Chamber of Commerce and Industry runs international trade training. The courses are aimed at giving a clear understanding of import and export procedures and the documents involved, developing the ability of delegates to identify any problems early and deal with them effectively.
KEAP is building on the Training for After School Art Clubs, currently piloted in primary schools around Falmouth, Penryn and Redruth, to include artists from other disciplines and in other geographical areas. The Silvanus Trust is committed to regenerating the woodlands in the South West for economic, social and environmental benefits. We have worked for over twenty years, often in partnership with other organisations, statutory and voluntary, to promote and increase the potential of woodlands in the south west to support greater rural economic activity for the benefit of local communities, businesses and the environment. The support includes grant aid, advice, and help with training and skills development. The projects have involved all aspects of forestry including woodland management, timber processing, and community woodland and education activities.

Level 2 and level 3 NVQ courses are £365, unless it is the candidate’s first level 2 in which case this is fully funded. The SMART Women Project launched their first course last week. A total of 41 women are attending the programme with 27 at Camborne and 14 at the St Austell campus. There are two course pathways and we currently have 26 women studying the level 3 Chartered Management Institute qualification in ‘Business Start-up’ and 15 women attending the Institute of Directors toolkit.

The International Trade Team for the South West provide a range of services to businesses including help for novice exporters as well as more in depth assistance for experienced exporters, market intelligence and market research services. Financial support is also available to suitable companies to help with the costs of trade visits and attending overseas trade shows. The UCP project seeks to measurably improve the efficiency, competitiveness and growth potential of SME's in Cornwall through the placement of graduates in companies to undertake business development projects. With the help of Convergence funding they can provide training, mentoring and up to a £6,000 wage subsidy towards the salary of your graduate and provide assistance with other project costs.
The Unlocking Cornish Potential programme arranges the placement of graduates in businesses to undertake development projects in order to benefit both the company and the graduate. Of those companies who have taken part, 70% have gone on to offer their graduate a permanent position, and 85% say that they would consider a second UCP programme.
