The Cornish Fisheries Producers Organisation began in 1976 as a non-profit making co-operative, and today consists of 210 fishing vessel-owning members from all over Cornwall.
Its aims are:
to manage fish quota on behalf of its members in order to minimise the discarding of fish and to maximise profits by matching vessel catching opportunities to market demands;
to increase the unit value of its members' catches by researching new markets and promoting its members' produce;

The European Grants Centre was established in 1991 to advise UK firms and charities on obtaining financial aid from the multitude of schemes now available to them from European, UK Government, and local sources. The Centre is privately-funded, providing free advice and consultancy services on a success-based fee structure.
Our goal is to increase active participation in sport and the arts, especially amongst young people and those with more ability than resources.
We look to support a wide range of activities where there is clearly beneficial impact across the community. Our particular goal at this time is to encourage active participation by young people. Awards are available up to £40,000.
